ABSTRACT
I. THE name of Abraham al\yuys precedes those of Isaac and Jacob except in one place (Lev. xxvi. 42), where it is said, " And I ,viII remember my covenant ,vith Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant ,vith Abraham will I remenlber;" and thus ,ve learn that all ,vere of equal ilnportance.
