ABSTRACT

To King An and a there were born five sons. The youngest of these, inasmuch as his face resembled a mirror, was named Adar^amukha or Mirror-face. All five sons grew up. Prince Adar^amukha was very gentle and modest, but the others were rash, rude, and hot-tempered. Their father called them together one day on a matter of business. The minds of the elder brothers were incapable of deciding the smallest of its points, but Prince Adarsa-mukha answered with intelligence the difficult questions which were proposed to him.
