ABSTRACT
The study reported in Part I of this book was undertaken in 1961, soon after the Delinquency Prediction Instrument was made available. The Corporation of Glasgow Education Committee granted facilities to the writer to carry out a small experiment in the detection and prevention of delinquency in cooperation with their School Welfare Officers.
