ABSTRACT
In the preceding chapters we have discussed the need for integration in criminology and the concept of subculture as an integrating construct. We have focused our analysis on the subculture of violence and have presented some of its theoretical implications. We shall now direct our attention to the existing literature on violence, especially homicide, in an attempt to note convergences and divergences between existing criminological facts and our theoretical formulation.
