ABSTRACT
The concepts and assumptions used in this book are linked together in a broad conceptual framework that relates individuals, groups, and institutions to each other in one coherent system. Individual, group, and institution can each be described by their internal and external environments and by the organization and management of the transactions across the boundaries between what is inside and what outside.
