ABSTRACT
Part III has described the social reorganization of a production system already disturbed by the introduction of a new technology—automatic looms. Part IV will describe an experimental reorganization of nonautomatic weaving in which technological differentiation and social reintegration of tasks and roles were accomplished in one process.
