ABSTRACT

In conclusion, note that the G uesnerie-O ddou, G reenbergW eber, and Stahl-V araiya models have no spatial dimension-e.g., there are no locationally-fixed factors in these models. Previous sections have indicated the im portant role such factors can play in determining equilibrium locations and in influencing local govern ment decisionmaking. It might therefore be of interest to extend these models to a spatial setting.
