The poet Liz Lochhead addresses Deborah Tannen’s issues in a different mode, with satire and amusement. Men Talk (Rap) is a sharply barbed dramatisation of popular prejudices of male and female conversational styles along the lines of the old adage ‘Men Talk. Women Gossip’.
