ABSTRACT
An essential development of the turn away from the search for the grand narrative has been the move away from the notion that an all-embracing interpretation of the world resides in one nation, one culture, or one people. Indeed, it’s logical to argue that traditional concepts of race and nation are simply testimony to the history of imperialism (or one big idea from dead, white, European men).
