ABSTRACT
The Jordan Valley stretches from the point where the River Jordan issues from Lake Hulah in the north along the entire course of the river down to the Dead Sea in the south. This elongated valley, together with the Arraba, constitutes part of the great rift continuing via the Gulf of Akaba down to East Africa.
