ABSTRACT
Girls of wealthy parents were educated like their brothers in the households of the nobility or, as has been indicated, in nunneries. They were trained in some of the domestic arts as well as such social pursuits as singing and dancing. Moral and religious training was imbibed in an informal way through the habits of the household.
