ABSTRACT
Dr. Branfoot expressed himself as to the folly of educating women to be doctors. He told us that the Government had sent us to him, and he could not prevent us from walking round the wards, but that he was firmly determined that he would not teach us. I suggested that he could not help himself, and that if we were carefully observant of his methods of treatment we should do very well.
