ABSTRACT

The first work which Karl Marx undertook for a solution of the doubts which assailed him was a critical review of the Hegelian philosophy of right, a work the introduction to which appeared in 1844 in the Deutsch-Franz+¦sische Jahrb++cher, published in Paris. However, articles on striking economic events in England and on the Continent constituted so considerable a part of Karl Marx contributions that Karl Marx was compelled to make himself familiar with practical details which lie outside the sphere of the actual science of political economy. This sketch of the course of Karl Marx studies in the sphere of political economy is intended only to show that Karl Marx views, however they may be judged and however little they coincide with the interested prejudices of the ruling classes, are the results of conscientious investigation lasting many years.
