ABSTRACT
The ton-miles transported for this commodity were 31.7 X 109 of which 51.6%, 40.1%, and 8.4% were by rail, truck, and water, respectively (119). The rail, truck, and water ton-miles were, in units of 109, 31.7 X 0.516 = 1.64; 31.7 X 0.401 = 12.7; and 31.7 X 0.084 = 2.7, respectively.
