ABSTRACT
T HE previous chapters have for the most part been devoted to an analysis of word-forms and an account of their respective uses. The present chapter is mainly recapitulatory, its object being to summarize the foregoing material in its reverse aspect, by taking separately each important grammatical function and grouping together the various methods by which it can be performed.
