ABSTRACT
I have brought the narrative of the foundation of the Ramakrishna Order of saṃnyāsinis up to the separation of Sarada Mandiram from the Ramakrishna Asrama Trichur, in 1968. I now wish to examine the structure of the Sri Sarada Math and the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, as a background to understanding the internal organisation of Sarada Mandiram, which is now a branch of Sri Sarada Math, Dakshineswar.
