ABSTRACT
The previous chapters have shown that the economic situation in the two villages is precarious, irrespective of the inhabitant’s economic class, and there are no signs of improvement within the village boundaries for the near future. Working in a foreign country seems for many villagers to be the immediate solution to their economic difficulties and this opinion is strengthened by the relatively improved economic situation of the migrant households.
