Production and Employment

In this chapter we consider the results of statistical analysis of the first four equations in our model. We begin in Section 4.1 with the consideration of statistical evidence on the assumptions implicit in our agricultural production function. In Section 4.2, we consider the relationship between the output of food-grains and total agricultural output. Next, in Section 4.3, we consider the relation between employment in the non-agricultural sector and the output and net import of food-grains. Lastly, in Section 4.4, we consider the statistical estimates of the non-agricultural production function.
