ABSTRACT
To those whose lives are spent in toilsome exertion and constant endurance, but who can take time so far by the forelock as to accumulate a little sum, such hope and promise as this, does the present plan hold out and offer as an excitement. May their spirit arise to aspire towards and seize it; and obtaining it, I think we shall be on the high-road towards a better choice of legislators, a more complete identification of the interests of those who toil with the advantages of those who think, —a better identification of the different classes that extend themselves through the demarcations of society; and our House of Commons will then be in a fair way to show what it is to have a full, fair, and free representation of the Commons of England. (Great cheering.)"
