ABSTRACT
The plan of the study may be outlined as follows. The first section deals with the concept of privatisation in its comprehensive coverage. The second brings out the salient features of whatever privatisation has been practised in some African countries. There is a critique of the rationale of privatisation in the third section. And the last one contains an analysis of the problems and implications of the policies of privatisation.
