ABSTRACT
The attack, just as does the defence, demands strict command, careful and thorough directives [Weisungen] for the combined action on all arms within the combat sectors and with the neighbouring sectors and also clear designation of attack objectives. On the other hand, every attack offers opportunity for free activity and joyfully decisive [entschlussfreudigen] action even for the individual soldier.
