ABSTRACT
The search has been on for several years to find a way of “unitising” properties. What this means is that the ownership of a property or a portfolio of properties would be spread among a number of investors. Instead of owning the property or properties outright, the investor would own a piece of paper that gave him the equivalent of ownership rights to a portion of the property or properties.
