ABSTRACT
Excel provides several methods to assist with the problem of extensive worksheets. In Excel, at the top of the vertical scroll bar is a small solid grey or black rectangle and to split the worksheet drag this down and the screen will be divided horizontally into two sections by two parallel lines. A similar method of seeing two or more parts of a worksheet at once is to use the Menu Window New Window command. This creates an independent window into the worksheet with its own scroll bars. Freezing panes is a very convenient way to freeze a row or column or both, select the cell which is immediately below and to the right of the row and column to be frozen and select Menu Window Freeze panes. In addition, there are some other tools also assists to reduce the complexity such as Group columns and Forms by selecting the Menu Data Group and Outline Group, and Menu Data Form.
