ABSTRACT

A journalist is someone who writes and researches stories for any publication ranging from a free local weekly paper to the revered Sunday Times. If the journalist writes for magazines, these could range from an in-house company magazine to the hallowed pages of Newsweek. Essentially, the process is the same even if the stories are completely different — a journalist spots a story appropriate to the publication, convinces the editor it is worthwhile, then researches and writes it.
