‘Parents are always welcome’, says the school prospectus. Meeting parents has become a vital part of the school's public relations. In what capacity will you as an NQT have to deal with parents and how should you go about it? You will meet parents mainly in two capacities:
as a subject teacher
as the form tutor of their child.
