ABSTRACT

Using the World Wide Web as a ‘library’ of appropriate learning information means that the learner can access and retrieve various materials deemed necessary to foster learning. Not only can you use the Web as a library, you can, of course, put up your own materials in a variety of forms that learners can access as the need arises. The Web can be used to give a lesson, deliver a slide show and/or show a short video clip. Using various structures and links, you can design interactive learning experiences for the learner whereby they share information with you the facilitator.

This chapter outlines the various considerations needed to deliver Web based learning materials to learners to ensure the materials meet their learning needs.
