ABSTRACT
This chapter may appear to be out of place in a book about education and teaching. However, most teachers, at some time, will wish to make a presentation at a conference or professional meeting, and there are many obvious similarities between large group teaching and presenting a paper. There are also significant differences which may not be quite so obvious which made us feel that this chapter might be appreciated.
