Chapter 1 The Roles of Marriage: Headship and Submission

Perhaps one of the most misunderstood, misinterpreted, and misapplied spiritual principles for marriage is found in Ephesians 5:22 and Colossians 3:18. The apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 5:22:

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
