ABSTRACT
We know that God asks wives to submit to their husbands, but what about the role of women in general? Paul elaborates again on the role of women when he writes to the Church at Corinth. This time he is not writing just to wives, but to a general audience that included the entire church. Paul writes to the Corinthians, as recorded in 1 Corinthians 11:3:
Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
