ABSTRACT
Today's economy, advances in technology, and increased competition for dollars have caused many organizations to reevaluate their goals and prospects for survival. The focus is on restructuring, reorganizing, and re-engineering their organizations (Caudron, 1996). Many companies are undergoing budget cuts, becoming more cost-conscious and trying to do more with less. The trend for businesses has been to cut labor cost to trim expenses (Winston James and Li-Ping Tang, 1996).
