ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to gain qualitative insights on the impact downsizing has on employee morale and productivity: implications for leadership training (with special reference to Cooperative Extension). The expectation was to learn about employee perception of the job environment in light of downsizing. Drawing from these perceptions the researcher made inferences for future training and improvement. The research design, development of instruments, data collection techniques and analysis, and selection of subjects will be presented and discussed in this chapter.
