ABSTRACT
Successful entrepreneurship depends on several environmental factors. The formal and informal economic factors play major roles among women entrepreneurs. The terms entrepreneurship and small business are used in this report to reflect both formal (registered) and informal (nonregistered) business activities started, owned, controlled, and operated by a woman in the Nigerian society (INCH Handbook 1983).
