ABSTRACT
With the diversity of today's dance activity, how should you proceed with your own creative ideas? Choreography is a vast subject, so I have concentrated here on three aspects, the history, the craft and the process. These areas overlap in the creation of a work: historical examples act as models, the craft helps to shape the choreography and the process is governed by outside influences such as time and money. In practice they all work together, but I have separated them, here, to concentrate on specific points.
