ABSTRACT
Drawings perform many different functions and fulfil various needs. The different types of drawings are discussed later, but it is vital that when drawing any kind, it is the ultimate function of that drawing that needs to be kept uppermost in the draughtsman’s mind – what is this drawing for? Why is somebody paying me to draw this?
