ABSTRACT
Knowing what type of drawing it is that you are producing will dictate the content of that drawing as well as its method of presentation – its ‘look’. Each distinct type of drawing serves a different function and is targeted at a particular readership. By definition, then, it will contain separate, specific information. If you were to design a job and then take charge of the draughting or construction, you would probably have used all the types of drawings listed here during the process, because each type of drawing is specific to a particular show’s development from design through to completion.
