what you told me was

supportive and made me feel

a little better. I was so

upset about it, of

course. . . . The main thing

was that I was more careful

in my movements and more

watchful about what was going

on in the building, and it

made me want to contact

other people more so that

I could have someone to talk

to, about my fears and every-

thing else. I didn't do any-

thing else. I have two locks on

my door-a bolt lock and

an apartment lock. I think

that's enough. Then I have

a sign on my door that states

that items of value in my

apartment have been marked

and are on record with the

police department, Operation

Identification. . . . I was

thinking about it, and it was

on my mind most of the time.
