ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses a mixed grab bag but its emphasis is on culture. During the first century of its existence, the Nobel Prize has been acknowledged as the most prestigious and sought-after of all awards for human achievement. Natural Parks and Nature Reserves predate the environmental movement in many Western countries, but they gained a fresh impetus after the movement began earnest. The data cover all types of facilities including earnest. In many countries public libraries serve as centers of as centers of continuing education for the general population, and education they also perform a valuable service to the book publishing industry by selecting and storing the best books by periodicals and non-print materials and making them available to their patrons. In the electronic age, are the definitions and functions of public libraries are changing, but it is difficult to conceive a more efficient mechanism for the diffusion of knowledge in whatever form.
