The Design and delivery of a course of teacher education will undoubtedly be influenced by the educational philosophy of the tutors in both the HEIs and the partnership schools, but these courses have been closely regulated by government bodies for well over a decade now, and are inspected to ensure that they comply with government policy So the media image of trendy educationists peddling a host of unworkable theories is completely inaccurate.
