ABSTRACT
The sights, sounds and smells of the seashore offer children a great variety of stimuli for location writing. There is a multitude of locations, from sand flats to towering cliffs, from busy harbours to quiet coves, from fishing ports to seaside amusements, and whatever the chosen location, begin by making observations.
