ABSTRACT
Communication with the LSA begins with her appointment to the school. The head and governors have a responsibility to ensure that all staff are aware of school policies. An LSA handbook is a useful way of providing all the information needed initially. On a practical level, a large ring binder, which enables information to be added/changed, is a good format.
