ABSTRACT
Some children with ASD have sensory modulation difficulties, i.e. they cannot modulate incoming sensations. In some cases they do not receive enough information and are slow to process and make sense of it. For this reason they seem to need more stimulation than most other children in order to receive information from the environment. They seem to crave more of everything and will often repeat actions and noises which appeal.
