ABSTRACT
Children with ASD do not readily make links between pieces of information. They may also make responses in one situation which they do not think applies to another, a typical example being the distinction they make between home and school. Some children do not want information to be shared between home and school. In particular, they may resent homework because in their view it is school-related and therefore intrudes into time set aside for their chosen leisure activities.
