ABSTRACT
At Piper Hill our aims are to increase pupil knowledge and understanding about drugs and related issues both now and in their future lives. Teaching around this topic is closely linked to the development of self-esteem which permeates our whole curriculum at Piper Hill and is also developed through Personal and Social Education. We believe it is important for pupils to develop a range of skills to enable them to make their own informed decisions about drugs and other substances (such as household bleaches and glues).
