Writing – Policy and Planning

A policy of ‘writing for all’ reflects the NLS Framework for teaching as a national long-term plan for raising literacy standards. The policy may start with a statement of the philosophy and principles underpinning writing for all in the school, and may also include a section for each of the sub-skills summarised in Figure 4.1.
