ABSTRACT
Children enjoy hearing about someone very much like themselves. They love tales about boys and girls … who have moods and get angry as they do, who are sometimes naughty and get into trouble but who, in the end, receive the reassurance of being loved and wanted. They enjoy sharing the experiences and emotions which a well-written story triggers and willingly project into it their own feelings of fear, insecurity, anger, joy and relief.
