ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the work of participating schools in promoting pupil involvement in school development through:
seeking pupils’ views as part of the development of curriculum or pastoral policy;
the use of circle-time at classroom level to increase pupil participation in class decisions and school-based issues;
the involvement of pupils in decision-making about school developments through the work of school councils.
