ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1 we raised a number of issues which appear regularly as points of debate for educational research, and which have particular implications for school-based research in the areas of SEN and inclusion. We now consider these issues under five broad headings (Figure 2.1):
linking research and practice;
values issues;
managing and facilitating school-based research;
methodological issues;
moving towards researchable questions.
