ABSTRACT

ICT can be broader than simply using a computer. One popular misconception is that ICT only means computers and this is not true. The use of other technology, such as a remote control device for a television, is also included in ICT. One has to be practical and meet the needs of the dyslexic student in many varying environments within a school. Sometimes the low-tech answer is helpful and might be enough if the student has access to a computer at home.
