ABSTRACT

Juggling for the Complete Klutz was a Christmas present from my brother. It came with a set of ‘thuds’, which is what jugglers call juggling balls. As Christmas and Boxing Day rolled on I started to practise. The book is an excellent teacher and soon I was impressing everyone - well, everyone apart from the relatives who would say, ‘So can you only juggle with three balls?’ My response was always ‘Would you like to have a try?’ The author of the book talks about your friends pushing you to juggle more and more objects, and he says that this is the road to madness. I must agree with him and yet confess to starting along this road. Luckily I did not travel far, since I failed to catch many of the objects, and most of the thuds lived up to their name.
