ABSTRACT
Under the special educational needs (SEN) legislation, there is a requirement to hold regular reviews of the child's progress. There are two types of reviews: the annual review of a child's Statement of Special Educational Needs (bi-annual in the case of a child under five years of age) and the more frequent reviews of his progress in general and his Individual Education Plan (IEP) in particular.
